District-scale ground beyond the gold assets
Beyond its priority gold assets at Shoobridge and Finniss, Axiant holds four earlier-stage projects across the Northern Territory and South Australia, spanning silver, base metals and rare earth elements. Each offers district-scale ground with encouraging early results and significant untested potential.
The projects
Four earlier-stage projects, each with encouraging early results and significant untested potential.
Albarta Project
Northern Territory · Silver, base metals, rare earth elements
Two granted exploration licences (EL28136 and EL28029) plus three applications. The most advanced targets, Blueys and Inkheart, host silver-lead-zinc (± copper) mineralisation in quartz-carbonate veining confirmed by drilling. The Blueys Folley prospect adds allanite-bearing (rare earth) pegmatites over kilometre-scale strike. The scale of the system remains open, with further drilling required.
Jervois Project
Northern Territory · Base metals (Cu-Pb-Zn)
Two granted exploration licences — Jervois East (EL29580) and Jervois West (EL29581). The principal target is the interpreted ‘Big J’ corridor, considered a potential geological analogue of KGL Resources’ Jervois copper project. Work by Core — airborne geophysics, surface geochemistry and reconnaissance drilling — has returned geophysical anomalies, elevated Cu-Pb-Zn geochemistry and shallow basement. The targets remain conceptual, with only limited drill testing to date.
Mt Freeling Project
South Australia · Base metals (Ag-Pb-Zn)
A single granted licence (EL6038) of approximately 289 km² in the northern Flinders Ranges, around 500 km north-east of Adelaide. The project shows the hallmarks of a structurally controlled, sediment-hosted base metal system. The Ooloo prospect — where historical mining targeted silver-lead-zinc sulphide bodies — is the most advanced target, though modern drilling remains limited.
Yerelina Project
South Australia · Base metals (Ag-Pb-Zn)
A single granted licence (EL6111) approximately 600 km north-east of Adelaide in the Curnamona Province. The project displays the characteristics of a structurally controlled, sediment-hosted silver-lead-zinc system, with prospects including Great Gladstone, Big Hill and Grace. Drilling to date is limited, leaving the broader extent of mineralisation largely untested.
