Gold rights on Darwin’s doorstep
Finniss is one of Axiant’s two priority gold assets. The Company holds exclusive gold mineral rights over nine granted exploration licences and one licence application across Core Lithium’s approximately 575 km² Finniss project area, located around 80 km south-west of Darwin on the Cox Peninsula. Axiant’s gold rights are held under a mineral rights sharing arrangement, with the underlying tenements remaining registered to the existing holder.
A key advantage is location: the project sits close to Darwin Port and associated infrastructure, and benefits from established site access through Core’s operating Finniss lithium mine.
Gold in the Bynoe pegmatite field
Although the Finniss area is best known for the lithium of the Bynoe pegmatite field, the same ground hosts widespread gold anomalism and multiple structurally controlled gold prospects. Gold is associated with quartz veining along fold hinges, shear zones and structural corridors within turbiditic metasediments of the Finniss River Group — analogous to the orogenic gold systems found elsewhere in the Pine Creek Orogen.
Prospects
Large areas of the project remain untested by drilling, with four priority prospects and a pipeline of additional targets identified to date.
Jedidiah & Epiphany
Gold-in-soil corridor
Together these prospects form a broad gold-in-soil corridor. Anomalism extends over more than 3.4 km of strike (up to ~300 m wide) at Jedidiah and at least 3.3 km of strike (up to ~800 m wide) at Epiphany. Neither has been systematically drilled.

Golden Boulder
Quartz lode system
One of the best-defined prospects in the project, where historical workings, surface sampling and drilling confirm gold associated with a steeply east-dipping quartz lode system.
Ringwood
Intrusion-related gold
Conceptual intrusion-related gold system targets.
Additional targets
Far East · Piper North · Nisso · Toolebuc
Additional targets including Far East, Piper North, Nisso and Toolebuc have been identified, and large areas of the project remain untested by drilling.
